We will discuss our lesson today through powerpoint slides. So, turn your face
to LCD’s projection in the front of class. Let’s get it started. What we will
discuss today is Simple Present Tense. Is there one of you know about this
topic?

v S(Dani) : simple present tense use habitually.
v T : good dani, Simple Present Tense is grammatical
tense whose principal function is to locate a situation
or event in present time.
v S :
what is structure to make clause?
v T : Ok, There are
three important exceptions :
1.
For positive
sentences, we do not normally use
the auxiliary.
2.
For the 3rd person
singular (he, she, it), we add s to
the main verb or es to
the auxiliary.
3.
For the verb to be, we do not use an auxiliary,
even for questions and negatives.
v T : If you use Auxiliary do/does so the
structure in possitive (S + V1 + C) and if you use auxiliary to be so ( S +tobe[is,
am, are]+ Adv/Adj/Noun + comp)
v S : Please give example mom!
v T : Ok, E.g :
§ I go to school.( use verb so no use
tobe)
§ I am sick (it use be because followed by
Adjective)

v T : (S + V1 + not + C) and if you use auxiliary to be so
( S +tobe[is, am, are]+ not + Adv/Adj/Noun
+ comp)
And the structure of introgative sentences is Auxilary
(do/does) + S + V1 + Complement) and if use tobe : Be(is, am, are) + S +
Adv/Adj/Noun + Complement.
